Description:

Bald Cypress is a deciduous conifer tree that can grow one hundred feet tall.  The leaves have a soft and feathery appearance.  The bark is grey in color and has fiber-like ridges that peel off in strips.  Native specimens can be found along rivers and in wet, swampy soils.
